There are many ways you can help the animals at NYWRC. We have our donation button, of course; monetary donations are always greatly appreciated!

We also have a list of items that we use every day, and are always thankful for donations of these items. If you have items to donate, just visit the Contact Us Page and send a text or e-mail, and we’ll let you know when you can bring the items by.

Here is our running needs list:

  • Humane/Live animal traps such as Have-a-Heart brand,
  • Gift certificates to Kelly Agway and Tractor Supply in Cobleskill,
  • Sponges,
  • Brillo pads,
  • Scrub brushes,
  • Dawn dish soap,
  • Laundry detergent (unscented),
  • Clorox bleach,
  • Windex,
  • Paper towels,
  • Fly tape,
  • Light bulbs,
  • Shower curtain,
  • Kitty litter (unscented),
  • Ace bandages,
  • Medical tape,
  • Gauze,
  • Blue Kote and/or Red Kote veterinary wound spray,
  • Old towels, sheets, and dishcloths,
  • Old Tupperware bowls, and
  • Feather duster.
